AD/Sr. Manager Compliance, Assurance COE
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead China monitoring activities by overseeing key monitoring workstreams, including AZ-sponsored meeting reviews, external funding spot checks, unstructured data monitoring etc. Partner closely with Compliance Business Partners and relevant cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, assess root causes, and drive timely, practical, and sustainable mitigation actions.
- Manage investigation cases end-to-end with close attention to quality, timeliness, and consistency. Ensure investigations are progressed efficiently, key facts are thoroughly assessed, and final reports are delivered promptly with clear findings, robust documentation, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Continuously enhance insight-led dashboards and reporting to strengthen responsive monitoring capabilities and support external inquiries and internal investigations. Develop and issue dashboard-based updates on investigation status, themes, and trends for leadership, enabling better visibility, prioritization, and decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Drive AI-assisted monitoring and investigation initiatives by identifying opportunities to embed AI into monitoring and investigation workflows, systems, and methodologies. Promote adoption of AI-enabled approaches across the team, foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, and support the use of technology to improve efficiency, risk detection, case handling, and overall monitoring effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years (or above) of working experience
- Integrity and strong ethics mindset
- Experience related to Legal & Compliance, Audit & Assurance, Risk Management in MNC and experience in the Healthcare Industry is must
- Ideally strong project management experience
- Proven track record of advanced leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, and to lead or as part of a team to resolve complex matters. Be proactive to lead the change, be self-motivated to manage touch issues, and be accountable for the results
- Ability to work effectively and is good at managing work under a matrix organization structure and comparably complicated environment.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin both orally and in writing
