Manager-BI & Data Excellence
JOB PURPOSE
This role drives end-to-end market data management—from sourcing and evaluating data service solutions and ensuring rigorous data quality control to maintaining robust systems. Furthermore, this position demands strong business acumen and technology expertise to not only produce timely and insightful market reports, but also to leverage innovative technologies to empower market data management and analysis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
1. External market data reporting and analysis
- Proactively manage and refine market reports (PPT and dashboards) through a deep understanding of brand strategy
- Independently deliver timely market reports with key findings
- Optimize reporting efficiency by automation tools and/or vibe working approaches
2. Market data management
- Develop algorithms and design automated tools for outlier detection and automated market data quality reporting
- Conduct market trend forecasting leveraging statistical analysis, machine learning, and other advanced predictive modeling techniques
3. Knowledge management and project management
- Leverage innovative technologies in project management and knowledge management
COMPETENCIES
1. Business Acumen
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, ensuring all reporting and analysis drive toward business objectives
- Capable of translating business problems into data modelling problems
- Sharp awareness of market trends and competitive landscape
- Consulting, SFE, data science project experience is a plus
2. Data management and modelling
- Ability to process massive data and able to conduct statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and advanced predictive modeling techniques
- Proficiency in excel, programming skill (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
- Adapt to new technologies, practical knowledge of applying AI to optimize data management is a plus
3. Communication and team work
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
- Excellent cross-functional communication capability and presentation skills
- Quick learning and willing to explore new things, think beyond conventional boundaries to provide solutions
