Senior Manager-Strategy & PMO
Typical Accountabilities:
• Coordinates the creation of the portfolio strategy, making clear recommendations for brand resource allocation priorities
• Leads the planning and the analysis of the portfolio to provide clear brand priorities.
• Ensures consistency and sharing principles and practice across the Global business.
• Responsible for supporting the effective communication of area brand strategies
• Acts as consultant to MCs/commercial leaders in the creation of their own portfolio prioritization and resource allocation
• Recruits, manages and develops top calibre talent to staff the Business Planning team

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree; Evidence of the ability to pull together diverse teams over whom they have no line management responsibility; create results and give a sense of ownership to all participants without over-compromise; Evidence of strong analytical and planning skills and financial acumen; a good understanding of externalization strategies and the ability to lead and influence to deliver these initiatives into the organization; Experience of successful influencing cross functionally, cross-culturally and cross-brands; strong evidence of working and influencing effectively to achieve results with no line responsibility; Demonstrated knowledge and very wide understanding of global business context: almost certainly having held a number of diverse roles including outside home country and across SET areas; Has experience in resource management and business planning for the marketing of products / brands from TG 2.5 to maturity; An excellent communicator; evidence of strong independence and innovative seeker of strategic solutions; a strongly conceptual thinker; forward looking
• Desirable: Advanced Degree (MBA),; Managed a group of at least 1-3 analytical staff; Strong track record of portfolio management, which may include global and/or local marketing company experience, to ensure credibility and influence in the GVP area and wider business - understands what it takes to build differentiated sustainable brands
