DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

Business planning responsibilities 40%

  • Support Brand Teams to focus on main growth drivers
  • Support Brand Teams to set up appropriate Brand KPIs and to follow up the execution
  • Support cross-functional brand teams to deliver integrated brand plans
  • Support to connect brand strategy (Brand Plan) to programs and campaigns (Brand Experience Plan) so that customer priorities get pulled through to the next level of operational planning and execution
  • Support Brand Teams to dig deep insights based on market understanding and facts
  • Enable senior management to evaluate Brand Plans through a consistent lens
  • Provide teams with new and innovative analytical tools to interpret data and make more informed allocation and investment decisions

Project Management 20 to 40%

  • Set up project management framework/tool for launch excellence
  • Develop project management tools
  • Set up cross-functional work streams
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve overall launch plan
  • Monitor/ drive project progress
  • Regularly monitor project progress to make sure on-time achievement of milestones/ KPIs
  • Organize overall and work-stream level cross-functional team meetings
  • Make records of the agreement/ issues/ next steps proposed in the meeting
  • Secure visibility of project progress/risks across launch teams
  • Generate reports to senior management team on timely basis
  • Escalate issues through proper line when necessary
  • Identify risks/ support mitigation actions
  • Identify potential risks and support mitigation plan
  • Accelerate problem solving through proper escalation
  • Organize best practice sharing from other brands/ companies/ markets

Strategic initiatives and other project responsibilities  20 to 40%

  • Strengthen global communication
  • Lead key strategic initiatives that will ultimately enable AZ China to develop and implement winning commercial strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in Science, Business, Finance, Marketing or other relevant areas, MBA degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in brand marketing, strategic planning, business development and / or management consulting
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in oral and written English
  • Experience in new product launch readiness in pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Project Management capabilities
  • Experience and proven success in working with cross-functional teams
  • Quick learning ability
