Associate Procurement Manager
Brief Job Description
Timely supply all materials, equipment, spare parts & services to ensure timely supply of right products to marketing. All activities related purchases are professional to ensure the best goods, quality, price and service for company.
Purchasing & supply
- Sourcing and procurement of materials/services for Fibrogen/AZ Beijing operation site
- Make sure all processes/activities in this category are fully compliant to GMP, GIA, S404 requirements and company policy
- Contribute the good reputation and maximum benefit for company
- Work closely with end users to understand their needs, expectation and manage stakeholders well
- Ensure Suppliers’ qualification who supply to Fibrogen/AstraZeneca
- Follow Regulations (GMP, GSP, Labor law etc) in daily purchasing activities
- Forecast and demand management
- Monitor the Daily procurement compliance and activities
Sourcing & supplier management
- Make sure meeting AZ CR requirement in supplier sourcing & selection
- SHE requirements are fully implemented in site service
- Research and analyze marketing intelligence to set up potential supplier database and ensure AZ have the enough procurement power during negotiation
- Well understand supply market of materials used for production
- Monitor supplier’s performance to ensure the good performance delivered
- Annual contract & price review with key suppliers
- Meet with key suppliers on a regular basis, find improvement opportunities
- Use procurement network outside AZ
- Networking with global category team
- Work with end user to improve service quality
- Supplier PE for the key business
- Achieve individual targets and KPIs
- Lead important projects
- Collaborate global team to align strategy
Stakeholder Relationship Development
- Marketing intelligence Sharing Regular
- BCP & BRM for business awareness and analysis
- Value added service for end user capability lift up
Project management
- Support the integration of Fibrogen to AZ, including transition of policy, process and system enhancement
- Support the new business development
- Stakeholder and supplier collaboration
- Lead relevant projects for value delivery
Payment
- Follow with open GR/IR, timely track the exception issue,
- Clear the overdue payment
Organization & People development
- Regular staff coaching
- Team meeting and knowledge sharing
Category management
- Owning and developing local category strategy
- Providing market insights and savings targets
Education/Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor degree or above. Major of business, trade or Pharmaceutical is preferential
- 7+ years working experience in MNCs and at least 2 years in Sourcing
- Good personality and responsibility
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- MS office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- SAP is preferred
- Project leadership capability
- Good communication skill
