Associate Finance Director – OBU LC

JOB PURPOSE

  • Be the leading Finance Business Partner for OBU LC Unit
  • To lead the sales and marketing finance partnership with the LC business to achieve the strategic and operational goals.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to business leaders, enabling and influencing decision-making to achieve optimal performance
  • To drive improvement of business efficiency and effective through driving optimal resource allocation and deployment
  • To drive and ensure proper organizational governance structure and implementation including but not limited to financial controls and business Code compliance in functional teams
  • Develop team and talents.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES /

1.Be the leading Finance Business Partner for OBU LC business unit

  • Lead and drive finance business partnering for LC BU
  • Be the focal finance contact person for business leaders, mainly BU VP, franchise head and global OBU senior leaders (e.g. global Oncology finance, global Oncology franchise heads).

2.Budgeting and Planning

  • Lead the BU budget cycle, AZ internal budget cycle as well as alliance budget cycle together with counter parties.
  • Ensure robust budget and planning for short to long term goal, addressing growth and investment strategies.

3.Investment support

  • Fulfill management reporting of financials for all in scope functions
  • Risk and opportunity analysis and forecast
  • Financial management action recommendations
  • Accountable for financial support of business development initiatives including initial assessment and valuation support
  • Closely monitor sales performance and spending, and make timely forecast adjustment and resource reallocation to be in line with trend and strategy, and to optimize profit delivery.

4.Reporting

  • Manage the flows of accurate and timely financial information between business unit and central finance
  • Monthly financial report with cost variance analysis

5.Engage BU management team to meet and exceed defined financial KPI

  • Provide specific analysis where necessary to support decision making
  • Identify opportunity to help business improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Finance business partner for ongoing business operations as well as special project support

6.Develop team and talents

  • Provide effective coaching to team members and develop talents.

Job requirements /工 作 要 求

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or related)
  • CICPA/ACCA or equivalent
  • MBA or master degree (preferred)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experts in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power point)
  • Experienced SAP / ERP/ Hyperion/Concur use
  • Accounting/reporting/analyzing experience
  • 8 years + in budgeting & planning field, 10+ years preferred
  • Pharma / Medical device industry experience/Audit firm experience preferred
  • More than 3 years in management postion preferred
  • Strong influencing skills (ability to have proper interactions with senior business leaders)
  • Strong business acument
  • Self-motivated & good people skills
  • Strong adaptive to changes
