Compliance Manager

Job Description

The main responsibility of the role is to conduct assurance activities around agreed risks and prioritized business activities and perform investigations. The role is expected to act as an independent evaluator of how our controls are functioning to identify what works and what does not for China Market.

Typical Accountabilities

  • Be the leader for spot check program, covering both meetings and sponsorships. Ensure the spot check runs in an effective and efficient way and be dynamic to new business model. Proactively identify the risks and make proposal for the follow-up actions.
  • Perform the monitoring desktop reviews as defined by the assurance plan, supported by data analytics.
  • Periodically review the monitoring programs completion status and support the China Assurance Leader to prioritize the programs.
  • Perform non-significant compliance investigations and issue reports
  • Provide support to RIDs for significant investigations
  • Maintain professional & effective collaboration with Business Partners

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in assurance work (compliance, audit, internal control, financial control, monitoring, etc), preferably in pharmaceuticals or a related industry
  • Good analytical skills and solid knowledge in assurance & validation area, including collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusion
  • Strong independence, self-motivated, and result orientated with leadership potential.
  • Good written and oral communications and collaboration attitude.
  • High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
  • Fluent in English
