Finance, External Funding Management (Associate) Manager
The role will be responsible for implementation of external funding management optimization. Contribute on the improvement of operating efficiency, digitalization, transparency with close loop design and monitoring.
This role will coordinate with relevant function like legal, compliance, etc. to ensure the regular external funding management is keeping on improving based on the internal and external principle and regulation launched.
Provide the periodical insight and report to support daily operation management and business decision, which is one of the important parts of external funding management.
Typical Accountabilities
- Work together with the different functions to develop standard COC SOP and is keeping on optimization.
- Understand the business rationale rather than just the expense number.
- Support or drive on end-to-end process establishment and make sure the adherence in daily practice.
- Be responsible for regular internal stakeholder training to ensure the real time update and education of the latest policy, process can be delivered to business timely.
- Ability to provide comprehensive data analysis by BU/TA/HCO sponsorship project review, like quantity, content, finding and risk.
- Work on reporting with multiple management dimensions to support management decision making or BU performance review.
- Keep on exploring the digitalized solutions to improve the efficiency of COC management and the transparency of external funding management.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
Experience:
- More than 5-8 years working experience in policy, process, data analysis, audit SOP establishment, strategy development and implementation.
- Well educated with insights of business, multiple company governance principles and dynamics between function.
- Experience in driving changes and sense of monitoring.
Skills:
- Able to perform under pressure with logical thinking and good judgement.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Excellent English communications skills (verbal and written)
