Portfolio Analyst, Portfolio & Project Management
Portfolio Analysis:
- Perform in-depth pipeline analysis using portfolio data to support therapeutic area strategy development and provide regular portfolio analysis reports, including analysis of project progress, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Deliver clear and insightful portfolio visualizations charts and summaries with accurate data to support key business planning cycles such as mid-term plan (MTP)/long-term plan (LTP) for business review.
- Conduct thorough analysis on various projects to extract actionable insights and communicate findings clearly.
- Synthesize portfolio data and compare performance against industry benchmarks on a quarterly basis. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to inform strategic decision-making and enhance portfolio performance.
- Develop impactful presentations and reports as needed to effectively communicate portfolio insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain portfolio dashboard to track key performance indicators, project milestones, and resource utilization, providing stakeholders with visibility into portfolio health and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Portfolio Data Management:
- Build and maintain datasets or models for portfolio analysis, ensuring data quality by conducting regular checks and implementing data validation processes.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the portfolio data, enabling informed data-driven decision-making and proactive risk management.
- Uphold high standards of quality and consistency in all reporting and analysis outputs.
Collaboration and Alignment:
Collaborate continuously with cross-functional teams, including project managers, portfolio management lead, and global TA portfolio analysts to ensure portfolio analysis aligns with broader business objectives and strategic priorities.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

- Experience of portfolio management, analytics in a drug development environment
- Experience in providing business and impact analysis to senior leaders
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proven ability to work through complex problems and use analytical ability to interpret and communicate them effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Broad drug development/ business experience
