Screening Project Leader

Job Description Summary:

The role will be required to lead a team of professionals to cooperate with respective brand owner and medical therapeutic area head to determine the disease management needs in local market, to further develop and implement the Screening & Diagnosis strategy accordingly. The role will also accountable for the selection of high quality HCOs, through the selected HCOs to adhere AZ ‘patient centricity’ core value to cover the huge patient unmet needs in terms of disease screening & diagnosis, to truly fulfill our commitment to China society. The person is also required to set up appropriate working process and monitoring mechanism to ensure the Screening & Diagnosis program conduct by HCOs with high quality and in adherence of AZ ethics and compliance standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 主

  • Lead the team to cooperate with BU Brand Owners and Medical TA Heads to determine the overall disease management needs, and further to develop the Screening & Diagnosis strategy based on DA strategy in each respective disease area.
  • As AZC Screening & Diagnosis Sponsorship process owner, to align with HCOs and internal partners (BU brand owners and medical TA Heads, etc) on overall the scientific value and design rationale of Screening & Diagnosis Sponsorship, including but not limited to, size of projects, expected outcomes and budget, and get the endorsement at company level.
  • As process owner, to update/maintain company level Screening & Diagnosis Sponsorship program guideline and measurements.
  • Build up the HCO search and evaluation framework and criteria, and to ensure the framework and selection criteria are well communicated with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the selected HCOs fully understand AZ sponsorship guideline and risk management requirement via SOP training, communication and 1st line monitoring, etc.
  • Responsible for the overall Screening & Diagnosis sponsorship program implementation through timely tracking the HCO projects’ progress and quality to ensure they are delivered in the right way to meet local legal requirement & AZ ethics and compliance standards.
  • Partner with both business and Compliance, Finance, NS, and Legal teams to ensure effective monitoring programs are in place; the results are effectively and timely communicated; any identified gaps or trends are properly followed up on.
  • Recruit and develop a highly skilled and talented team.
  • Creates an environment that encourages continuous improvement & innovative way of working to increase the efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENT 要

Academic / Professional qualification / 学 历 / 专 业 资 格

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent, from top tier universities

Working experience (No. of years / 年 资, Job function / 工 作 功 能, Business types / 业 务 种 类 )

Essential     必 需  

  • 10 years (or above) of working experience
  • Experience in big 4 auditing firm at least 3+ years is preferred
  • Integrity and strong ethics mindset

Desirable    理 想

  • Experience related to Legal & Compliance, Audit & Assurance, Risk Management in MNC and experience in the Healthcare Industry is must
  • Proven track record of advanced leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently, and to lead or as part of a team to resolve complex matters. Be proactive to lead the change, be self-motivated to manage touch issues, and be accountable for the results
  • Ability to work effectively and is good at managing work under a matrix organization structure and comparably complicated environment

Language ability / 语 言 能 力

  • Fluent in English & Mandarin both orally and in writing

Computer literacy / 电 脑 知 识

  • Proficiency in computer office processing programs, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
