(Sr.)Manager, Digital Pathology Scientist

Major responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders and teams to translate the business needs, clinical needs and medical strategy into ideas and projects development fit for overall digital diagnostic strategy.
  • Ensure inputs and requirements from key stakeholders and business partners are effectively captured and incorporated into project plans, and are understood by teams in execution.
  • Guide internal project team and external ecosystem partners to in high-quality delivery of innovative digital pathology solutions to improve diagnosis and treatment .
  • Provide oversight and leadership for project teams; be responsible for quality execution of plans; identify resource needs for the team;  ensure clarity in objectives through actions;  identify potential risks and drive effective issue management and resolutions.
  • Provide effective communications with key stake holders, collaborators, and team member on progress, potential risks and ongoing issue management. Tracking both the costs against the agreed budget and the realized benefits (both financial and ‘intangible’), raising any changes through the agreed framework.
  • Working with stakeholders and teams, to build strong network with academic society and KEEs to advance AZ leadership in digital diagnostics in China.
  • Drive clinical studies, evidence generation, and improving digital pathology adoption via ecosystem collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in science related majors, master or Ph.D.
  • Experienced in digital pathology development or relevant fields with good knowledge of healthcare devices & regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with business
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives in cross-functional settings with proven track records
  • Strong strategic thinking & excellent learning agility
  • Able to manage ambiguity with high resilience with effective problem and conflict resolution skills and proven team focus
  • Strong networking/consulting skills with internal/external SMEs
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
  • Experience of defining the business strategies and influencing the key stakeholders of the vision for the business area
