Manager, External Funding Management - Operation Excellence
Typical Accountabilities
- Strong understanding of business logic, operating models, business dynamics, and development principles.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to external funding operations. Develop and implement control measures to safeguard against financial and reputational risks.
- Translate business needs and operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements. Act as the primary liaison between the business and the EFM team, leading discussions and overseeing the implementation of new solutions.
- Support or drive on end-to-end process establishment and make sure the adherence in daily practice.
- Drive the timely delivery of key policy and process updates to business teams through consistent, well-structured training sessions.
- Ability to provide comprehensive data analysis and generate insights by BU/TA/HCO sponsorship project review, like quantity, content, finding and risk.
- Develop and prepare multi-dimensional reports to support management decision making or BU performance review.
- Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and transparency of external funding management.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
Experience:
- More than 5-8 years working experience and good track record in a business control, strategy development and implementation, or operational management role, with a focus on sponsorship management, donation/PAP management, HCO management, etc. Pharma MNC central marketing experience is plus.
- Well educated with insights of business, multiple company governance principles and dynamics between function.
- Experience in driving changes and sense of monitoring.
