Sustainability and Common Health Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Community impact program development and management
- Lead China YHP and contribute to other Common Health initiatives, balancing global priorities with local needs.
- Build and maintain NGO relationships; run stakeholder consultations to identify social impact opportunities; co develop annual program plans.
- Ensure full compliance with AZ requirements (grant usage, branding and materials, approvals, documentation).
- Monitor progress; manage partners to keep execution on track; measure and report outcomes using KPIs and M&E frameworks.
- Stay current on CSR trends and best practices; propose innovations to enhance performance.
Volunteer campaign implementation and employee engagement
- Design and operate a full cycle volunteer mechanism (recruitment, onboarding, training, activity design, incentives, network building).
- Plan and deliver the yearly volunteer campaigns aligned with China sustainability priorities; supervise local plans and execution.
- Promote volunteer activities; develop leadership and employee participation mechanisms; secure funding through internal partnerships.
Sustainability Reputation
- Coordinate China Sustainability Impact Report development in alignment with Global Sustainability strategy; ensure on‑time publication.
- Integrate sustainability narratives into corporate platforms (e.g., CIIE, CISCE) including content strategy, booth storytelling, and themed activations; ensure cross‑functional alignment.
- Coordinate multi‑channel communications across priority topics (community health, green transition, volunteer culture) to drive consistent cadence.
- Develop sustainability contents foundation
- Manage awards pipeline to achieve annual recognition targets across climate & nature, health, and CSR.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic / Professional qualification
- University degree and above;
- Social science/Environmental science/sustainability, or related subject is a plus.
Technical / skills training
- Stakeholder management and influencing: able to build trusted relationships with NGOs, internal teams, global teams, and other partners.
- Program design and delivery: able to create scalable activity frameworks with clear KPIs and drive continual improvement.
- Strategic storytelling: translate complex sustainability and health topics into engaging, compliant narratives aligned with brand and global strategy.
- Governance and compliance: strong compliance mindset with understanding of approvals, grant management, third‑party oversight; familiarity with global & local sustainability standards is a plus.
- Agility and ownership: adapt to evolving needs, manage ad‑hoc requests, and deliver to deadlines with quality.

Working experience
Essential
- 5–8 years in sustainability/CSR, public health program management, corporate volunteering/employee engagement, or corporate communications; healthcare or NGO partnership experience is a plus.
- Track record managing multi‑stakeholder programs with measurable outcomes (events, education campaigns, or grant‑funded projects).
- Experience in content development for internal and external channels; ability to craft data‑backed, story‑led narratives.
- Proven project management (planning, budgeting, vendor/partner management, monitoring & evaluation, reporting).
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscape and influence to drive results.

Language ability
- Good English and Chinese spoken sufficient for cross-function and global collaboration, writing and editing of a high standard

- Willingness to travel to counties/townships in China for Common Health projects (up to ~30%; varies by month).
