Medical Science Liaison-Immu-Hangzhou

Typical Accountabilities:
• Leads the interpretation and implementation of government regulations and AstraZeneca’s internal standards regarding occupational medical programs

• Leads the management of the employee medical surveillance programs, according to regulatory and internal AstraZeneca standards

• Leads the delivery of case management under the Short Term Disability and Workers Compensation policies, as well as in Field Sales

• Leads the development and implementation of health promotion programs and in Field Sales

• Provides performance management of nurses, site physicians, and support staff

• Oversees management of the operation of dispensaries, including the provision of medical care for self-limited medical conditions

• Prepares, administers and negotiates budgets and contracts as necessary

• Collaborates with AstraZeneca Safety personnel as necessary in the investigation and recording of occupational injury and illness cases, and in the provision of occupational medical surveillance programs

• Leads the provision of emergency medical response to employees

• Seeks to obtain efficiencies from the provision of similar programs, initiatives, and events

• Establishes key stakeholder groups at sites and in field sales to obtain feedback on current programs and suggestions for future programming

• Periodically evaluates the medical program and implements modifications as needed

• Collaborates periodically with Corporate Affairs personnel in the joint production of programs to improve employee awareness of the company’s therapeutic areas, for example, the Brandwise program on hyperlipidemia

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: • Professional qualification of Bachelors Degree in relevant field; • Considerable occupational health experience; • Proven ability to develop and implement Health and Wellness programs
• Desirable: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management skills; Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of an organization; Some Management experience; Experience working in a Pharmaceuticals company
